PT Volleyball will host a one-day volleyball camp for Clark Elementary on Wednesday, April 26. Campers will be introduced to the sport and learn basic skills. The camps will be held at the PTHS gym from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Fee is $10 payable at the door. See the flyer for more info!

We were so proud of all the talent on display at Clark Elementary's production of "Music Man Jr."! It was marvelous to see the large cast assemble for the show! We appreciate out students and their parents and guardians for the time and effort you invested in making such a high quality performance. Head Start Preschool Screening for the 2023-24 school year will be offered on two dates: Friday, April 28 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon and Friday, May 5 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon. The Paducah Tilghman Student Equity Advisory Council (SEAC) will host a student-led parent forum Tuesday, April 11, 5:00 PM at the Seaman's Church Institute, 129 South Water Street. All PPS parents are welcome. Please see the flyer for more information.

As a culminating activity for a unit on Economics Clark students in Ms. LeNeave's and Ms. Harper's wrote a plan for their very own business. The projects turned out great and allowed students to show their creative brilliance while demonstrating knowledge of key economic terms. Several students shared their business plan with community leaders who visited Clark on Leadership Day.

Clark Elementary hosted a Leader in Me training for teachers from the region. Bryan Flachbart led the training. Schools participating included Caldwell County, Ballard County, Mayfield Independent, Union County High School, Paducah Middle School, Clark Elementary, McNabb Elementary, and Morgan Elementary.

Congratulations and safe travels to our students who were selected by audition as members of the National American Choral Directors Association Honor Choirs: Celia Veal (Clark Elementary, 5th Grade) Eliza Veal (Clark Elementary, 5th Grade) Celia and Eliza were the first students from Clark Elementary to be selected for the ACDA National Honor Choir! Max Canlas (Paducah Middle School, 8th Grade) Alayna Watkins (Paducah Tilghman HS, 12 Grade) Amarie Smith (Paducah Tilghman HS, 12 Grade) The group will be traveling to Cincinnati February 22-25 for the honor choir rehearsal and performance.

The National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO) has declared February 15th as School Resource Officer Appreciation Day. From the classroom, to the hallway, the football field and everywhere in between, thank you all for making our schools safe places to learn and thrive!

Our Family Resource Youth Services (FRYSC) directors and support staff gathered at the Hub today for an appreciation luncheon held in their honor. The Paducah African American Leadership Club will host a Black History Presentation on Friday, February 24, 5:30 PM at the Paducah Tilghman High School Auditorium. Admission is $5.00.
