Paducah Tilghman senior catcher Kaiden Rodgers committed to play softball at Lindsey Wilson College in a signing ceremony held on February 2 at Paducah Tilghman High School.
Rodgers transferred to PTHS her junior year after playing softball at McCracken County High School. She also played for the Alabama Thunderbolts, a travel team based in Birmingham, Alabama.
“(Due to the transfer) Kaiden wasn’t able to get on the field right away, but she was always willing and prepared to do whatever she could to be helpful,” said PTHS Assistant Softball Coach Jonathan Romain. “On the field she made an immediate impact on our team with her voice, her calmness and her play. Kaiden is a high character player. Lindsey Wilson’s not just getting a great competitor. They’re also getting a great teammate and a great human being.”
