Twenty-one students at Paducah Tilghman High School have earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on Advanced Placement Exams for the 2023-24 school year.
Four students earned the AP Scholar with Honor award by averaging at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of the exams. The AP Scholars with Honor include senior Erica Wurth and PTHS class of 2024 graduates Elena Adkins, Ben Coltharp, and Landon Monroe.
Seventeen students qualified for the AP Scholar award by completing three or more AP exams with scores of 3 or higher. The AP Scholars are seniors Ryan Bidwell, Levi Brown, HG Page, Mackenzie Patterson, Ethan Wainscott, and Addison Winklepleck, junior Jude Williams, and PTHS class of 2024 graduates Kylie Caruthers, Fiona Caywood, Chris Cerda Santiago, Azlyn Goodyke, Cameron Griffith, Francesca Hodge, Julian Jacob, Ashlyn Story, Henry Stratemeyer, and Corban Williams.
The AP Program recognizes high school students who have demonstrated outstanding college-level achievement through AP courses and exams with the AP Scholar Awards. The College Board recognizes several levels of achievement based on students' performance on AP exams.
