Tilghman seniors Madelyn Duwe and Terrance Robinson are PTHS Rotary Students of the month for October 2024. The Rotary Club of Paducah invites seniors from area high schools to the club's weekly meetings. Students are selected monthly and attend each Rotary Club meetings during that month.
Madelyn is a varsity member of the Paducah Tilghman tennis team. She is an alumnus of the Paducah Chamber of Commerce Youth LEAD program and a Governor's Scholars Program alumnus. Madelyn is president of the Beta Club and co-president of FBLA. She is a member of PTHS Student Ambassadors, FCA, Interact, Choir, and Pep Club. Madelyn plans to attend a four year university and pursue studies in the medical field. Her parents are Angie McKendree and B.Z. Duwe.
Terrance is a member of the PTHS Band of Blue. He plays in the Marching, Pep, Jazz, and Concert bands. He has been named to All District Band, Quad State Band, and Quad State Orchestra. He is an alumnus of the Paducah Chamber of Commerce Youth LEAD program. Terrance is a Paxton Scholar. He has received the DAR Award and the Centre Fellow Award. He has been named a Berea Woodson Scholar. He is an officer for the National Honor Society, Student Council, and Student Equity Advisory Committee. He is a member of the African American Leadership Club and HOSA. He is president of NAACP Youth.
After graduation, Terrance plans to attend either the University of Kentucky or Murray State University and become a Cardiac Nurse Practitioner. His mother is Racole Robinson.
