Paducah Middle band director Lindsey Williams has been invited to be a guest clinician for the Annual Quad State Middle School Band Festival at Murray State University. The festival will be held Monday, November 22 on the campus of Murray State University.
Ms. Williams previously served as guest teacher for this event in 2012. She has also taught honor bands at the University of Tennessee at Martin and for District 2 in Madisonville, Kentucky.
The Quad State Middle School Band Festival is an event at MSU where 6th,
7th & 8th grade students come from four states--Kentucky, Tennesse,
Illinois and Missouri-- and are formed into four large bands, each with
their own guest clinician. The students receive the music the clinicians
select in advance, and they rehearse with the guest clinician for one
day and perform a concert that evening in Lovett Auditorium.
